Sims 2 Super Collection for Mac-Worth it???

I was introduced to the Sims franchise in the later days of Sims 3, and quickly fell in love. I own every expansion pack for 3, and every expansion/game pack for 4, along with a few stuff packs.

I’ve never had the opportunity to play Sims 2, but everyone seems to rave about it. I saw that there’s a Sims 2 Super Collection for sale on the Mac app store, and was wondering if you guys think I should take the plunge and but it. It includes the base game, 6 expansion packs and 3 stuff packs for $29.99.

Thoughts? I’d be playing it on my MacBook most likely, which falls within the required specs.
